Our Week 6 fantasy WR PPR rankings aren't particularly strong, but it's not our fault. The first set of byes not only takes away a few key receivers, but it also takes away several favorable wide receiver matchups that help create sleepers and waiver wire streamers.
The Lions, Titans, Raiders, and Texans actually don't feature that many every-week starters (Davante Adams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Brandin Cooks, maybe Robert Woods), but Detroit, Vegas, and Tennessee entered Week 5 in the top 11 in fantasy points allowed to WRs. Between the removal of those teams and injuries that continue to decimate the rankings late in the week, "fantasy's deepest position" suddenly isn't quite so deep.
As always, PPR monster Cooper Kupp (vs. Panthers) posted a big stat line for the Rams in Week 5 and headlines our Week 6 rankings in a neutral matchup against the reeling Panthers. You can probably guess the rest of our top-15 PPR WRs, as they’re all set-it-and-forget-it, high-volume WRs who have the ability to notch 100-receiving yards while reaching paydirt in the process. Filling out your starting lineup with a sleeper as your WR3/flex can ultimately be the difference in whether you can get into the winner's circle.
WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
Some WR3/flex and bubble WR candidates who can help you win this week include Adam Thielen (@ Dolphins), Allen Lazard, Romeo Doubs, and even Randall Cobb (vs. Jets), Jakobi Meyers (@ Browns), Isaiah McKenzie/Khalil Shakir (@ Chiefs), Darnell Mooney (vs. Commanders), Darius Slayton (vs. Ravens), and Julio Jones (@ Steelers), if active. Don’t expect these players to pop off for huge games, but they all have the potential for five-plus catches and/or a TD.
WEEK 6 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
On the other side of the coin, Drake London (vs. 49ers), Dyami Brown (@ Bears), Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore, and Corey Davis (@ Packers), Marvin Jones Jr. and Zay Jones (@ Colts), Rashod Bateman and Devin Duvernay (@ Giants), George Pickens (vs. Buccaneers), JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (vs. Bills), and Rondale Moore (@ Seahawks) are among the bubble WRs with tough matchups this week. Even Diontae Johnson (vs. Buccaneers) is in a bad spot, but he's salvageable in PPR leagues. The same goes for Smith-Schuster and maybe Rondale Moore. The rest are tough to trust.
WEEK 6 DFS: Best stacks | Best values
We didn’t see Keenan Allen (vs. Broncos), Rashod Bateman (@ Giants), Jahan Dotson (@ Bears), and Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry (vs. Bengals) in Week 5, but there’s a chance most return to game action in Week 6. Additionally, Tyreek Hill (foot), Drake London (vs. 49ers), Tee Higgins (ankle), and Chris Olave (vs. Bengals) got banged up during their games and will need to be watched throughout the week.
WEEK 6 DFS LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings
This is the type of week that, even in PPR leagues, it might be best to just play the matchups and hope for a big play/touchdown from your last WR spot. You can try to find a higher-floor guy in PPR leagues, but that hasn't proved quite as easy this year as in years past.
WEEK 6 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em
Note: We'll be updating these WR PPR rankings as needed throughout the week, so check back for the latest changes.
